I have been teaching here at Sankei for over three years. Working as an online English teacher was quite a challenge for me at first. My first five months of teaching here were tough because I couldn’t get many students to book my available slots. Although I followed the instructions to open slots during peak hours, I only had a maximum of six classes. I felt frustrated and confused, wondering if I could have been a better tutor.
After struggling for a few months to get regular students, I became one of the tutors to teach GLS, and I was glad because this felt like my chance to attract more students and earn more. Since then, I have been consistent with my teaching techniques. I always ensure that my classes are fun and interactive for my students, and now, I am proud to be considered one of the best tutors.
I feel so blessed and grateful to work with this company. Being an online English teacher allows me to work comfortably and without stress from the comfort of my home. I always look forward to meeting my students and seeing their smiles whenever I get the chance to teach them.
All students deserve quality education, especially when learning English, which we provide to our Japanese learners. I take pride in seeing them improve their English proficiency and achieve high grades at school, knowing that I have contributed to their success. Ultimately, working here gives me satisfaction and fulfillment as I share my knowledge with my students.
As a teacher, you are responsible for assisting your students, regardless of their level. You must be flexible and adjust your pace when teaching, especially with beginners, but always maintain energy and a friendly attitude.
Be patient with your students’ answers, but only overwhelm them with a few questions if they struggle. Always assist if they need help.
Put yourself in your students’ shoes. Remember, they are studying to improve their skills, and you are responsible for teaching them effectively. Show your students that you are there to help so they will feel confident and comfortable communicating with you.
Always give your best in teaching, but show respect and kindness. Providing appropriate feedback can help your students improve their English.
